So 2 finals down, 2 more to go...the last 2 aren't a big deal they're both pretty much walk into class turn in a paper i bullshited a while ago and leave....i'm positive i'll have straight A's if not pretty close to it by the end of the week as my final grades....
Once vacation hits i'm gonna have 3 weeks of free time and i'm not sure what to do with it...i usually fill my days with school work or editing but i won't have the accesibility to do so at my house. I guess i should stay productive somehow..but how...what can i do this vacation to up my filmmaking game? |

I find myself home a lot lately, Home and bored....Theres truly nothing to do in this side of the woods anymore. when i come home all i do is sit and wait till the next opportunity to go somewhere, hang with somewhere do anything but be here. This house does nothing but depress me. I wish i didn't have to spend so much time here but then again i have nothing else to do...
what usually ends up happening is i'll come home and have nothing to do so i'll make plans on purpose just to make sure i have somewhere to go...that usually leads to me wasting all the money i got (which i keep promising i'll save) and being broke the next day...my life is pretty boring if i dont have a beer in my hand or if im not on a film set lately.
truly i just want something to do
i feel like i've lost everything i once had when i was younger...the friends i once had have deteriorated slowly but surely...all i have left is a handful of kids that truly go out of there way to hang out and show me a good time which is what i need because i feel like its always me working to make other people happy and never vice-versa..i rarely see someone go out of there way to make me smile...im always the giver.....i barely take..and that can take a toll on someone...it makes you feel unwanted and uncared for...but people will never know that i feel this way cuz they never take the time to ask about it....and even if they had access to this journal they wouldn't read past paragraph 2
on a happy note i finally took my braces off
now i need to wear a retainer 24 hours a day...total drag but better than braces i guess
the top retainer has a fake tooth in it to cover my missing baby tooth and i need to wear it till i can save 2,000 bucks for a surgery to implant a tooth in there

So I finally finished the edit to the no one else music video, it only took me like 2 months...but i'm proud of the piece. My teacher HATED it saying it was too gritty and "punk" pretty much, when he watched it he followed to ask me my views on life pretty much and why i do things the way i do and why i dont't care about certain things in life/school
it was a funny conversation
Now i have to finish editing Julie..the film we shot over the summer that was never finished completely due to how bad it came out....the footage looks great but the actual film just doesnt flow...so what we're gonna do (ClassicoVino) is re-write the story somehow with editing to use the footage but somehow change the story to something more entertainning...we'll see how that goes
I'm also editing my short film Pints of Guinness Make You tronger, i got the developed film back for it yesterday and i'm really excited to see how it plays out...all i need right is a score for the film by ronald and to find somehow who can do the narration for the film..i need someone with a MORGAN FREEMAN style voice... |
